Colleen Macsuga is a certified yoga instructor who has been practicing for 10+ years. She discovered yoga in high school to complement her other activities and then became certified to teach after college. Colleen has taught at various studios along the Connecticut shoreline during her winters as well as all over Martha’s Vineyard including Hot Yoga MV, CCC, Yoga in the Park, and in private homes. This variety of teaching locations has allowed her to hone in on her skills of reading her class abilities and cater to student needs. Classes can range from very energetic with creative transitions, to gentle restorative outdoors. Colleen has been on Martha’s Vineyard for six years, works full-time at Lululemon, and is a year-round resident.

Brianna Kenney is a Certified Vinyasa and Yin Yoga teacher. She completed her first 200hr Vinyasa teacher training through Lighthouse Yoga School in New York City, with Jared McCann and Rebecca Emmalee Causey in 2020. In 2022, she completed her Yin Yoga certification through Breathe Cambridge in Boston with Shawn Cornelison, and later that spring completed a second 200hr teacher training through The Sacred Fig with Anton Brandt, Grace Dubrey, and Tony Lupinacci.

Bri first started attending asana classes when she was 13 years old and since then, her love and appreciation for yoga has grown immensely. In 2018, Bri did a yoga trade at Breathe Cambridge where she expanded her yoga practice and was able to explore various styles of yoga. Breathe welcomed her into their wonderful community and with what she learned, Bri started to establish her own daily practice. Her practice helped her find a sense of peace, clarity, and overall well-being that continues to draw her to the mat every day where she is able to move, sit, breathe, and simply be present. Bri firmly believes that anyone is capable of doing yoga and can achieve their goals if they continue their practice.

Bri found yoga to be a safe space where she could move her body with appreciation and amazement, without fear of judgment, and as a teacher, she strives for her classes to be a safe space for all individuals. She encourages students to approach their practice with an appreciation for their bodies and all they are capable of. Bri provides well-rounded Vinyasa classes that focus on mindful breath and movement and draw influence from various yoga styles such as Hatha, Katonah, and Ashtanga with pranayama and meditation incorporated. Bri reminds students to honor their practice and to hold space for any emotions that may arise. Students are invited to enter Bri’s classes with an open mind and an understanding that yoga is a never-ending path of self-discovery and growth.
