 Board Member Responsibilities and Benefits

The Chappaquiddick Community Center’s board of directors consists of 5 year-round and four seasonal members. Directors shall serve two-year terms. No director shall hold office for over three consecutive full or partial terms. After a two-year absence, a former director will be eligible for re-election to the board.  



Responsibilities:

  1. Attendance (in person or by phone) at monthly board meetings (third Tuesday of each month at 5 pm) and at the Annual Meeting in August.
  2. Clearly articulate the mission, accomplishments, and goals of the CCC.
  3. You can support our major events by volunteering for shifts, selling raffle tickets, setting up, tearing down, etc.
  4. Actively participate on at least two Committees.
